It's Tuesday! That means another GREAT sketch from
Jami Bova. I'm loving her sketches, very simple yet they make me think. Here is the sketch for this week:
I'm not even sure how I altered this weeks sketch...flipped it on it's side and then I think I mirrored it. Anyway, you see the similarities. Here is my take on the sketch:

I started with some paper from
Carolee's Creations, both the patterned paper and the blue cardstock is from Carolee's. The green cardstock is more of that pearl stuff from Walmart that I hoard.

From there I used some of the Heidi Swap stuff I used last week to paper piece the chick, which by the way, is the new set of stamps from
Skipping Stones Design. I cut the chicks out, added a little orange stickles to their legs and beaks and then pop dotted everything. I even stamped some grass from that set, cut it out and pop dotted it as well.
I distressed the edges of everything (though some places are hard to see it) and finished it off with a Petaloo flower. The gem that was on it didn't match so I changed those out to one that did. I am loving the paper pieced look and might have to try more of it. Thanks for looking and have a great week!
