You Rock

I am totally diggin' the sketch challenges over at iSpy Sketches and this week is no different. Here's the sketch:

And my card:

Sorry the picture is a little blurry, not sure why that happened. I used some Bo Bunny double dots on my card and embossed it with the new Spellbinders embossing folders. I'm digging the 2 in 1 with these folders.

I used a stamp set from Close to My Heart. I inked the edges and added some nail head looking "ribbon" I had on hand to finish the front of the card off. The inside is what makes this card "ROCK".

Come on now how fun is that? I'm also entering my card in the challenge at CAS-ual Friday.

Another birthday

Saturday was the special someone's birthday so of course, as I always, I made a card. I used this sketch fro iSpy Sketches:

I used some paper scraps from Moxxie that I sprayed with Glimmer Mist. I embossed some the solid color pieces.

I also dyed my ribbon again with the Glimmer Mist. I used the child phrases stamp again on this card. I just love these sassy little child stamps. I inked the senti as well. Finished it off by popping the senti and added some gems.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hey Chickie (ISSC03)

I found a great new sketch blog called iSpy Sketches and finally had time this week to sit down and play along. Here is their sketch this week:

What a fun sketch. I decided to flip the sketch on it's side and go from there. I used paper from Cosmo Cricket's Delovely line that I had to have a few years ago and have used very little of. I love the paper! Here's my card:

I also got the chipboard embellies with this line of paper so I decided to go with one of them. I love this little chic. I paired it with a senti from the What's Shakin' set of stamps from Creative Vision. I also decided to use the tutorial from TGF for the banners. So easy and brilliant. I'm not sure why I didn't think of it.

Thanks for stopping by and make sure to get over to iSpy Sketches and play along.
