Happy Tuesday, we are just that much closer to Friday! This is a new month which means we have a new sketch artist over at
Skipping Stones Design. Her name is
Jami Bova and she has come up with some great sketches for us for March. Here is the 1st.
For a change I didn't alter the sketch much at all, can you believe that one? Here's my card:
I used some paper from an older collection of Heidi Swap. It was double sided so I was able to use the back side for the lacy accents on the left. I also used some pearl pink paper that came from a stack I had gotten at Wal-Mart years ago. I can't find it anymore so it's one of those papers that I hoard. I embossed it with the paisley folder from Cuttlebug. The stamps are the new release from Skipping Stones called Chicks. They are super cute!
Here are a few close ups of the cute little chick. I colored her with water color pencils. I added some orange distress stickles to her legs and beak. I also dabbed a little tattered rose to her checks and added some white pen to her body for something different. I added a little bling embellie and inked the edges of the card.
For the back of the card Heather has designed this super cute bar code. I had to use it!
