You Rock

I am totally diggin' the sketch challenges over at iSpy Sketches and this week is no different. Here's the sketch:

And my card:

 Sorry the picture is a little blurry, not sure why that happened. I used some Bo Bunny double dots on my card and embossed it with the new Spellbinders embossing folders. I'm digging the 2 in 1 with these folders.

 I used a stamp set from Close to My Heart. I inked the edges and added some nail head looking "ribbon" I had on hand to finish the front of the card off. The inside is what makes this card "ROCK".

Come on now how fun is that? I'm also entering my card in the challenge at CAS-ual Friday.

Fishing

A few weekends ago the special someone and I went to learn how to tie fly fishing flies. Not that I need another hobby but it was fun and I had other motives...time with the cute boy AND embellie!! So here's a card I made my dad for Father's Day that I added one of my flies to.

I used Holy Carp from Skipping Stones Design. I used some paper from my scrap bin. Problem with scrap bins is I don't always know or remember who the paper is by. The top brown paper is Bo Bunny.

Here's a close up of my senti and my tie. Believe it or not, these are pretty easy little guys to make. I'm going back this Saturday to do some more.

And I couldn't leave you without a close up of this little guy. He is very cute and goofy. Perfect for the senti.
