Skipping Stones Design Sketch 022

I'm gonna give you a sneak peek today of a new stamp set coming out from Skipping Stones Design perfect for the 4th of July or for anyone who knows someone in the military. But 1st....we have a new sketch artist this month...Jen Del Muro. She's got some good stuff for us this month. Let's get started with this sketch:
Like usual I can't just leave the sketch like it is, I have to move it around so I flipped it on it's side and made this:
The paper is from Pink Paislee. How fitting is it with this set of stamps? WOO HOO! I also used some red shimmer paper that I cuttlebuged with the stars. I added some Red Bling Brads (YES...the bling is back my friends!) and topped it off with a little yellow ribbon stamped and cut out on Bo-Bunny Dot Paper. Love that stuff!
The stamped fireworks are 2nd generation stamped images in Barn Door and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks and the sentiment is stamped in black as a 1st generation. Love how it turned out!

Keep checking back to see what Jen has in store for us next Tuesday and we would love for you to play along with the sketch.

P.S. Per my previous posting HERE, I have blog candy BUT there is a catch. Check out the posting to see all about it.

Sassy Scrapin'

I love love love this card! Super job on flipping the sketch, and the textures are fantabulous!

Hey I love this card, Chicka!
But, cause I'm a bone head, can you tell me what a 2nd Generation and 1st Generations Stamped images are?
I think I have an idea, but..... Well, you know me.

Ha ha 2nd generation is when you stamp once and then use the 2nd stamped image without reinking (you get more of a faded look. :) I was always told that's what it was called but maybe I'm wrong.
P.S. Thanks for the compliment Kara!
