Click your wicked heels 3 times...

My mom has been bugging me to make her one of these so I finally got the template and put one of these adorable shoes together. I used some of the new Echo Park Halloween paper and I love how it turned out as much as I love this paper!
I added some purple glass brads with some Tattered Flowers to finish off the cute shoe.

The paper has a B side which you all know I love!

P.S. Did I mention that I won the whole halloween collection of paper from Echo Park by following their blog? Yea Me! Time for more cute projects from Echo Park!

Back to school with Fussy and Fancy, Challenge 18

It's that time of year again, back to school time. I have no kids so really, back to school means very little for me except more traffic in the mornings on my drive to work. :) This week over at Fussy and Fancy our challenge is to create a back to school card.
I used my Hello Kitty cartridge to cut the apple and books and then colored up the cute little Teacher Anya from The Greeting Farm for this card.
I threw some glossy accents onto her apple and some bling flourishes onto the cut apple for a little extra flair.
Don't forget to head over to Fussy and Fancy to play along. Our sponsor this week is Stitchy Stamps.

Back to School Rio

This week over at Tiddly Inks on PCP they had the cutest free digi, the blackboard background. I had been looking for something uber cute to use with Back to School Rio. They also worked great with the Tiddly Inks Challenge 18, Gear up for school.
I colored Rio up with some watercolor pencils and a little bit of Smooch paint and pop dotted her on the blackboard background.
I used some bo-bunny purple do paper as my card base. I made an easel card because they are so much fun to make.
And added my computer generated sentiment to the "inside" of the card that is pop dotted to hold the image part up. I added a few flower with some bling as well.

Strength and Courage

I just had to have this Cosmo Cricket DeLovely paper. It's totally bright and fun and totally me. However, I'm a hoarder and I buy awesome paper and usually don't use it. I just let it sit and collect dust and remind myself how awesome it is! So I decided it was nice and cheery to make a card for a friend having a hard time of things. I also used some Core'dinations bling cardstock on my card.
I added a few ribbons I had in my ribbon bucket and some Prima's. The Prima's are held together with a great glittery brad.
My sentiment is from Creative Clear Stamps. It's one of the singles that I absolutely love! It's called Admire Your Courage. I inked the sentiment with some Distress Ink.

Sugar Daddy

Anyone know where I can find me one of them? I sugar daddy that is...I'm always on the look out. Ok, not really for a sugar daddy but hey, it sounds good right? I found little Miss Savannah here who is discontinued from The Greeting Farm and feel in love with her so I snatched her up. Here's my card:
I used paper by Bo-Bunny, it's a new line called Petal Pushers. It's a B sided paper, stripes on one side and black circles on the other. I used some green Bo-Bunny dot paper as well as some pink dot paper for the accents.
I used the sentiment from My Favorite Things Twisted Threesome set. Love these sets!
I colored cute little Savannah with watercolor pencils and added a bunch of Stickles.
I added a few Prima's that I added some Stickles to as well.

Now back to that Sugar Daddy....where did you say I could find me one?

We're off to see the Wizard

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz...My card is for the Tiddly Inks Challenge to create a project of your favorite summer movie, and although I'm not sure if The Wizard of Oz is a summer movie, that's where I went with my card.
These pictures are taken with my cell phone so please excuse the poor quality. I used the cute little Betty Belfrey from Tiddly Inks for my card. I cut some yellow dot paper from Bo-Bunny for my yellow brick road and used the Diamond in the Rough embossing folder to make a few bricks on the paper.
I glued a bunch of red Prima's to the base of my card as the Sleeping Poppy Field. I cut my Castle from the Wall Decor cartridge in some green glitter paper from Creative Best to represent the Emerald City.
Thanks for looking!

Simply Rio

I'm so excited, Simply Betty is having a DT call and I've loved her stamps since I first laid eyes on them so I decided to whip up a little a a little something for the call. Here's what I came up with:
I used cute little Rio with a sentiment from Hambo Stamps. Colored Rio up with some water color pencils. My paper is from We R Memory Keepers, it's their new halloween line that is so cute!
I used some DCWV shimmer paper for the matting and also made my rose out of the shimmer paper. I added some pins to the rose as well (my sick and twisted sense of humor). I sprayed the rose with some Black Magic Glimmer Mist and added some Iridescent Ice embossing powder to it as well for some extra sparkle.
Little Rio also got some Black Magic Glimmer Mist.

Fussy and Fancy sketch challenge

Yahoo it's FRIDAY!! And Mindy from Fussy and Fancy has the best sketch for us today, I just fell in love with it!

Isn't that great? I had such a blast with this sketch. Here's my card:
I welded circles together on Cricut Design Studio and cut my circle card. Easy peasy!  I stamped out cute little Shooter from The Greeting Farm and colored her up with water color pencils and some Smooch paint on her gun and belt. My paper is Carolee's Adorn It that I've been hording for a year since I was only able to find 1 sheet of it when I bought it. I also added some Bo-Bunny dot paper and some Bazzill Bling in baby blue. I inked all the tan edges with tea dye Distress Ink.
I cut Shooter out and mounted her on some pop dots.I added a few flourish cuts from the Home Accents Cricut cartridge. Stamped Chicks Rule from an Inkadoo set that I have no clue of the name and mounted it on some baby blue Bazzill Bling paper.
I added some brown ribbon with blue stitching in it that I got from a swap. Put a little bow together held by a vintage brad and voila'!

Simon Says Stamps is our sponsor for this challenge and there is a great prize! Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out all what the other Fussy and Fancy girls have created:

Oh Alice

One of my favorite parts of the new Alice in Wonderland is when they discuss Muchness

So this card is all about Muchness. I used the sketch from Mojo Monday #151
I used the Time for Tea  image from Tiddly Inks. She's so sweet. I colored her with water color pencils and Smooch paint.
For the Oh Alice! challenge White Rabbit, White Gloves, White Wonderland, they asked  to create (WITH the exception of your main image panel) an ALL WHITE card or project! So I used white cardstock that I embossed with the Cuttlebug and added some dashes of white Smooch paint to.
Tiddly Inks Challenge #16 asked that we use windows on our project so I cut a little window in my white cardstock and backed it with some white glitter paper.
I added my bow at the top and added some pearls to the ribbon for a little extra love.
The Burtonesque Challenge #15 is to make a card based on your favorite Burton movie. Although I love most Burton films, I really liking Alice In Wonderland right now as my favorite. It's always so hard for me to pick just ONE Burton film that I love. I computer generated
my sentiment and inked the edges in broken china
Distress Ink and added some pearls to the sides of the
sentiment.

Arrr ya wondering where I've been?

Well I've been busy with company, 2 jobs and planning a baby shower for a friend. Wow...I've been busy! I had a few minutes to sit down last night and make up a card for the Tickled Pink sketch challenge and for the Kraftin Kimmie' challenge to make a card boy/guy card. Here is Tickled Pink's sketch:
I used Cutthroat Lizzie on my card with some deep masculine colors. As sultry as some of the Kimmie's are I'm sure a man would be happy to get a card with a sexy lady on it.
I colored her with water color pencils and some Smooch paint.

I used some black Bazzill Bling cardstock, some Bazzill dot cardstock and some skull paper I had in my stash. I added some Primas (1 has skulls on it) that I sprayed with some Glimmer Mist and a Black Pearl brad. Get it, Black Pearl like the pirate ship, ok, bad joke I know!
My sentiment is from Creative Clear Stamps Sassy Birthday 2 stamp set. I thought it fit this feisty dame well.

Healing Wings

Sadly, it's another sympathy card day. A very dear friend lost his grandmother this week and needs some love and cheer. I used the Skipping Stones Design set called Healing Wings for this card. This is another sentiment I absolutely love.
I used papers by Cosmo Cricket in their Material Girl line. The pom pom ribbon is by Fancy Pants Designs. Here is a close up of the sentiment.
I stamped my butterfly and cut it out and attached it with just the body of the butterfly so it looked like it landed on the page.

Espresso my gratitude

I needed a quick and cute thank you card so I pulled out my Coffee Vol. 1 from Skipping Stones Designs and this awesome paper by October Afternoon in the Go Fly A Kite line.
Stamped my image onto kraft paper in vintage photo Distress Ink
Added a few Primas with brown pearls in the center and some brown ribbon. The ribbon and Prima's match the paper a lot better then these pictures are showing. Sorry for the poor lighting.

Does this baby...

It's time for another round of Mojo Monday! This was a fun little sketch to work with. Of course I used a square rather then a circle but general idea is still there.
And here's my take on the sketch:
I used blue cardstock and some pink Paper Studio scraps I had left over from a project from 2 years ago. My cute image is from Pixie Dust Studios called Baby on Board. She's so cute!!
Colored her with water color pencils. I added some Stickles to the heart she's holding as well. The sentiment is computer generated and inked with some broken china Distress Ink. I added bling all over this card for a little added sparkle.
