29 days until Eclipse

I love Edward when he sparkles and so the inspiration for today's card. Very simple and quick to put together.
I had the white glitter paper left over from some project so I used it for a card front, pulled out some red from my scraps and used the Ooey Gooey punch from Martha Stewart and added some black bling.
Again I printed my sentiment from my computer onto a transparency with the Edwards handwriting font found HERE.

30 days until Eclipse

Welcome to Forks, WA, population 3,120. Today, my card shows us just where Forks is.
I had an old atlas laying around from the 90's, yea, yea, get a new one, I know! So anyway, I decided to rip out the page of Washington with Forks on it and incorporate it into my card. After getting it all in place Forks kind of got lost in the mix so my bestie Cami suggested a brad by Forks. Brilliant!
My paper is by Fancy Pants called Recess from the fall collection last year and the brown is from a travel pack that I found on clearance at Wal-Mart for $1.
The orange cardstock is by Close to My Heart. It matched great. I stamped my sentiment from Artful Inkables Fictionally Inspired set, added a button and a ribbon and there we have today's I can't wait for Eclipse card.

31 days until Eclipse

Team Jacob? Only with his shirt off right? LOL Well today my card is featuring a never before seen and soon to be released image from a set from Skipping Stones Design. I'm totally excited for this set. Heather gave me permission to use one of the printed images on my card as a sneek peek, see it before it's released kind of thing. (my picture is a little blurry so I apologize for that)
I used some pine tree paper I found and printed the wolf image on a transparency.  I used a little bit of tan paper from Close to My Heart on the bottom punched with a Martha Stewart boarder punch. and added a little bit of brown dangle ribbon. Not really sure what it's called.
I hid a yellow moon under the transparency. Threw on some green bling and I have myself a 31 days until Eclipse card. Thanks for stopping by.

A little wine? (CCEE1021)

YEA...great sketch Cheers & Challenges Eclectic Ensemble and it has a bit of a twist...use a button. How fun! Here's the sketch:
And again I left the sketch as is. Shocker....2 in a row!
My wine glass is from Skipping Stones Design and my sentiment is from Twisted Threesome by My Favorite Things. My paper is left over from the other day, the argyle is from Fancy Pants called Recess, the orange is from Close to My Heart, the green is the B side of the Fancy Pans and the brown is from a paper pack from Wal-Mart that I found on clearance for $1. I love deals like that!!
There's my fun little green button with some brown and maroon ribbon peeking out, I also added glossy accents to the wine glass. I colored the wine with maroon colored pencil before I added the glossy accents.

Breast Wishes (C4C38)

I really liked this weeks sketch over at Crazy 4 Challenges and then when I saw the Think Ink over at Artful Inkables I thought to incorporate the sketch to fit both challenges. The Artful Inkables Think Ink challenge was to make a card with a pocket.
Here is the sketch:
And can you believe it, I didn't flip it or alter it or anything, I stayed pretty close to the sketch. Here's my card:
I used some paper by Pink Paisley called Spark and the B side is called Starlight Spark. I embossed the teal part with the new Quick Kutz embossing folder with stars, added the square that I cut with my Nestabilites that I pop dotted and then stamped the awesome bra from Skipping Stones Design and cut it out.
I added some Diamond Stickles to the bra after it was cut out and pop dotted it onto the yellow square.
I added a folded over Prima with a pearl to the tag and slipped it in behind the yellow square.
The sentiment is also from SSD.

Totally out of my norm

Well I've had this card done but just now getting to writing something to go with it. Talk about procrastinator!
This card style is something totally out of the norm for me but it's fitting to the Cinema Saturdays challenge that I wanted to do. The challenge was to base your card around the movie Becoming Jane and to use pearls and flowers. I've accomplished both of these and gave my card some vintage flair with paper by Webster's Pages and some lace. I also used the sketch from this weeks CPS sketch challenge number 168. Here is the sketch:

You know me, I can't leave well enough alone...I flipped the sketch

I printed my quote and cut it with the top note, sprayed it with some glimmer mist and inked it when it was dry.
I added some buttons and put some pearls on the buttons.
My flowers started out as white but I dipped them in some glimmer mist and dyed them brown.

32 days until Eclipse

Today's card is based on the fact that I love Twilight and I don't care who knows or who pokes fun. I saw this phrase on a set of stamps but it also had True Blood stamps and I'm not into that so I made a computer generated version using the Twilight font I found HERE. I love it!

My paper is from Hobby Lobby and my scrap bin. I used some sparkly white (to represent Edward of course) and also some sequin "ribbon".
I used a punch by Martha Stewart on the sparkly white card stock. Inked the edges of the sentiment with Black Soot Distress Ink.

33 Days until Eclipse (CVCS9)

Well I decided to use the sketch at Creative Clear Stamps for this card, this sketch was a struggle for me, I think it was the 1/2 ovals on the 1 end but I like the final outcome. Here's Laura's fun sketch, of course I had to flip it!
And my card:
I used some dot paper by Bazzill and some new Webster's Pages paper. The paper is really fofo and not really my style but the B side of it screamed Twilight to me. I added a few red pearl brads on two corners.
Used a stamp from Artful Inkables Epic Tales sets. I inked the edges of the sentiment and added my two 1/2 ovals to the ends.

Here comes the....ummm...bride?

I participated in 3 challenges with this card, 1. Sketch Challenge at Friends Having Fun, 2. Brides at The Burtonesque Dolls, and 3. Bring on the Bling at Tiddly Inks. Below is the sketch:

And my slightly goth bride card.
I used some purple Damask paper from Bo-Bunny from last years halloween collection and some silver shimmer paper from DCWV as well as some purple shimmer paper from Bazzill Bling. My spider web is also punched out of some Bazzill Bling paper.
I added some sequin "ribbon" and a few purple primas spritzed with Black Magic Glimmer Mist and a black gem brad in the center.
I added lots of Stickles to her dress and crown as well as some silver Smooch paint. I also used the damask embossing folder for the bit of silver shimmer paper under the bride. I inked the edges in some purple ink as well.

Today's cards inspiration in Bella's dress in New Moon as pictured below
My card is made using papers by Pink Paisley (Halloween collection) and stamps from Skipping Stones Design, the Dandelion Dreams set. Rumor has it, Skipping Stones will be releasing a Twilight set soon. I can't wait!

I also used the sentiment from Artful Inkables from the Fictionally Inspired set. I inked the edges of the sentiment with some Bundled Sage Distress Ink.
I masked off the black scallops on this paper and stamped the images right onto the green portion.
I also spritzed the entire card with some Black Magic Glimmer Mist. This card was very simple, came together very quick, but I think it captures the look I was going for.

SSD card

Hello my blogger friends. Thanks for peeking at my card today. I'd love to tell you about it but really, I have no idea where anything came from. All of my paper was in a card kit I got during a swap on SCS. I did cut the top notes and stamp the sentiment myself. It's from Skipping Stones Design called Well Behaved. I love this set (even the misspellings) on this special edition.
The button has a ribbon tied onto it. I really love that look.
I also added some faux stitching in white around the red top note cut.  I really liked this paper so if anyone knows who the vendor is let me know :)  Thanks for stopping by!

Lie about your age

Oh yea, when in doubt lie right? Well at least when it comes to your age...Although I'll be celebrating my 32nd birthday in November, I tell people it's the 3rd anniversary of my 29th birthday. :) Sounds good to me anyway!

Anyway, onto my card...I used some papers I found at Hobby Lobby awhile ago. I loved the bright colors! The green matting and the pink center paper is dot paper from Bo-Bunny.
My sentiment is from Sassy Birthday 2 from CCS. I love this set of stamps! I inked the edges in Spiced Marmalade Distress ink and added some pink pearls and the ribbon is a lime green from my stash.
