Fussy and Fancy challenge #33, zippers or feathers

Happy Friday everyone. I'm super excited about this weeks challenge at Fussy and Fancy because I came up with the idea for this challenge. To use zippers or feather on your project. Zippers are all the rage so I went that route:
I used the lacy square Nestabilities and some great new paper from MME from the Stella and Rose collection. I'm definitely in love.
This picture is kind of blurry but I pop dotted this card like crazy so there is about 4 different layers to it.
I used some Smooch spray in orange for the senti label and the set called Always Here from SSD for the senti. Added some ribbon and some free hand cut leaves and there's my card. I used this older sketch from Mojo Monday.

Sweet!

I found this card on the talented Jen Del Muro's blog and thought I needed to case it. Didn't she do a great job?
Here is my case of her card. I didn't do it justice but I still love it.
I used a bunch of scraps, the blue is MME robot paper, the pink is some October Afternoon (I think) and the yellow is the B side of some new awesome Crate Paper.
I used the SSD set called Cupcake Cutie. I added stickles to it for frosting.

MEN!!

Here's a little post for you today to make you smile. I made this the other night for a friend of mine. I used a past sketch from Skipping Stones Design:
I also used SSD stamps for my card. I used the Funny About Men stamp set from SSD.
My paper is from last years MME Lush collection, added some ribbon and a button I had on hand to finish it up. I inked all my edges in black soot Distress Inks.
 Inside the card reads:

Find your pot of gold

It's that time again...time to play along with Stamp Insanity's awesomely fun challenge, Find your pot of gold. Find that pot of gold at the bottom of the rainbow! Use some gold accents, or shades of golden in your color selection! Spring is coming! I had a hard time with this challenge (that's why it's called a challenge I guess) because I'm more of a silver girl but here we go...
I used cute little Zeke from the Zeke and Maddie set. My senti is from the Simply Supernatural set. I used paper from the Rockstar stack from DCWV that I've been hording.
I colored Zeke with some distress inks and some smooch gold paint. I inked the edges and added more gold smooch. Finished it off with my cute little Prima in green.

Nothing like waiting til the last minute I always say...ok, really I don't always say that but it seams that way when I do this amazing challenge every month at My Minds Eye. I just finished this up and wanted to get it posted but it's way past my bedtime so my words will be short and sweet.
LOVE the new Rose and Stella paper!! Here's my little Roo again! Isn't she so cute? I added a few Prima's as well as some lace. Threw on some bling and there we have it.

Fussy and Fancy Challenge #32, Sketch

Happy Friday everyone! We have a great sketch for you this week at Fussy and Fancy. Mindy did a great job on this one. Lots of room for making it your own. Sometimes I think I'm too literal with sketches though, you can be the judge, here's the sketch!

And my card:
I used some craft cardstock with some of the new My Mind's Eye paper that is divine! I used the lacey squares from Spellbinders for the card and the center square. Love this set!
I used the soon to be released Skipping Stones Design stamp set called Green Birthday. This is such a funny set. I paper pieced and pop dotted the cupcake, inked the corners and aded a few buttons to the corner.
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out the other girls!

Stamp Insanity Challenge 49, Touchy Feely

Hello kids, it's Thursday! WOO HOO!! Yea for a work free weekend for me!! Today is he fun new challenge over at Stamp Insanity, I Feel Touchy Feely. How many textures can you incorporate? Have any unique ways to texturize? I used 4 on my card, check it out!
My base paper is from last years Lush line from My Mind's Eye and it's flocked (texture #1). I used the Other Worldly Loves set which I'm totally in love with. After I stamped the senti I rubbed Versamark over the whole thing and sprinkled some Stampin' Up Iridescent Ice embossing powder to make it sparkle (texture #2)
I embossed a piece of black magic Core'dinations card stock and sanded it so the red shows thought a bit (texture #3) and finished off the card with some cardboard that I sprayed with Santa Baby Glimmer Mist (texture #4). Threw some little black blings on the card as a final touch.
Now it's your turn, how many textures can you use?
I'm also entering this card in the Burtonesque Dolls challenge of Black, White & Red.
